Arnaldo’s aviation career has spanned more than 40 years and has included executive and management positions in airline operations, as well as development of facilities and marketing strategies for the airline business.
He has served in various positions with Eastern Airlines from 1970 to 1992 in the Caribbean - Latin America division, including eight years as Caribbean Regional Director, with main offices located in Puerto Rico.
During that time he was directly responsible for managing Eastern’s development of a major hub in San Juan, Puerto Rico, including supervision of extensive facility development and construction in Luis Munoz Marin Airport. Job description included route planning, pricing and the development of a multinational and branding strategy.
From 1992 to 1994 was President and CEO of Virgin Islands’ Seaplane Shuttle, a regional airline based in St. Thomas, with scheduled services throughout the region.
From 1994 to 2003 established “Air’s Inc.” - an aviation consulting company which provided services under contract to the Puerto Rico Tourism Company, where he was responsible for the creation and implementation of governmental programs designed to encourage the development of commercial aviation services to/from Puerto Rico.
From 2003 to 2008 continued with aviation consultancy with various airports and airlines.
